About Angelica
Hi. I’m Angelica. Welcome to this space.
I am a clinical herbalist, holistic nutrition practitioner, full-spectrum pregnancy loss doula, postpartum caretaker, writer, and guide currently based in the Midwest. My formal training includes over 1500+ hours in sacred plant medicine, clinical herbalism, miscarriage & pregnancy release support, energetic embodiment and balancing, somatic connection, mediumship, ancestral medicine, journalism, and psychology. My practice is based in the Wise Woman Tradition and deeply steeped in the alchemical process, animism, and psychosomatic principles.
At an early age, I held a deep unwillingness to believe that I had to live the story I had been sold by society. I had a deep lust for adventure, expansiveness, and wonder. I also felt myself come most alive when I read books with characters where magic was real and nature was lived IN, not far from. I believed as a young one that my life could be lived as vividly as the stories I soaked up. I longed to discover a world I knew I was living in but didn’t quite understand.
After graduating from University, it didn’t take long to survey my circumstances and commit to a life that many others thought looked exciting, but obscure.
I was on a mission.
I turned over rock after rock until I found the things that made me feel whole again. The path unfolded when I fully realized my unmeasurable connection to nature, which I may have never found if I hadn’t chosen to live off-grid and out of a backpack for years. This led to the most potent connection to myself. And then, seeing the relationship to all things above and below.
I was stunned at the simplicity of it. And also how hard it was for me to find this way. It took a LOT of trial and error until I found my footing on this path.
After the water cleared, it became certain to me that this was what I was to do in this lifetime: continue to become myself fully and aid others in doing so themselves.
My passion is in empowering others with the knowledge + magic that will aid them in balancing their experience in this human journey. It’s a process, and it takes true work & intention, but I promise it is holy and wholly worth it.
